Jo is best known for her paintings of moody landscapes and dramatic sweeping skies. Influenced by travel, photography, architecture and the power and beauty of nature, her style has a photographic quality as she strives to capture a moment in time and the sense of mood and movement within her work.

Having painted in watercolours and acrylics, Jo has developed a love for oils which help her achieve the richest, softest and most dramatic images.

Born in England, where she studied and exhibited, she moved into the corporate world and onto Oakville, Ontario where she has settled with her family. She has sold her work in London and Toronto into private and corporate collections.

When she is not painting, she enjoys a good book, BBC dramas, vintage finds and designing interiors.
